Hello! We’re the Glow Girls!
We’re two hair and makeup artists based in Auckland with a passion for creating fresh, lit-from within makeup, and timeless hair styles. We met each other in 2016 at training for Mecca Cosmetica and it didn’t take long for an amazing friendship to blossom! In 2020 we decided to partner up to deliver our clients an easier and stress-free getting-ready experience by combining our makeup and hair skills to work together as a duo. We specialise in bridal party and ball group bookings, and we love being involved in the excitement of getting ready with your girlfriends! We decided to call ourselves Glow & Co because we felt it just captured our collective vision: to bring each and every person’s inner glow out on their special day!

I moved to Auckland at the start of 2016 for university and graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) at the end of last year. My passion has always been helping people, and I genuinely feel so lucky that I get to do this through both my physiotherapy and makeup artistry careers. I have been a colour specialist at Mecca Cosmetica part-time through my student days and gained so much incredible knowledge and experience, including working at Meccaland in 2018! I love all things beauty, but I think my favourite part is being a special part of your big day. Whether that’s your wedding, school ball or any event, helping your vision come to life is the best feeling.

Hey I’m Kayleigh (On the right)!
I am currently studying my PhD at Massey University, and I love that I can combine my creative passions with my interests in the world, people and philosophy. I have always loved makeup from a young age, and utilised it alongside my painting and drawing to express my creativity. I worked as an artist for MAC Cosmetics in several Auckland stores part-time, full-time and as a freelancer for 4 years, where I have had the opportunity to develop my skills, knowledge and passion for the industry. I have also worked as an independent freelance makeup artist for 3 years where I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many amazing clients and being part of their special weddings, school balls and events. I can’t wait to keep doing what I love, in combination with my beautiful friend, to help you to achieve your glow!
